Yummy Recipe!

I visited TheNest.com today, one of my favorite places to go, and I came across this great recipe for Parmesan Rice Pilaf. Check out the details below!



Back away from the instant rice. This parmesan rice pilaf recipe from McCormick Cooking with Flavor takes the same amount of time, is just as delicious, and you can call yourself the chef, not Uncle Ben.


Makes: 4 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup rice

2 cups chicken broth

1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder

1⁄2 teaspoon parsley flakes

1⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons toasted sliced almonds

Preparation

Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add rice; cook and stir 3 minutes. Stir in chicken broth, garlic powder, parsley flakes and ground black pepper.

Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender. Remove from heat.
